本片講述了女緝毒隊(duì)長偵破跨境走私販毒案的故事。在一次追捕行動(dòng)中，高橋（余男 飾）因與毒販搏斗致腦部受傷，失去了味覺。不久后，高橋與砂鍋粥店老板陸鴻（任達(dá)華 飾）因一起車禍，在救人時(shí)相識。陸鴻的一碗砂鍋粥讓高橋嘗到了久違的味道，她成了砂鍋粥店的常客。他是廚師，也是毒師；她愛破案，也愛吃飯。隨著調(diào)查的深入，陸鴻的真實(shí)身份浮出水面，一心想退隱江湖的他將何去何從？眼看收網(wǎng)在即，一系列殺人案又讓高橋陷入了一個(gè)巨大的復(fù)仇計(jì)劃中……
